The church takes seriously the challenge of Jesus to place and honour children in our midst. We therefore offer a number of opportunities for life development and spiritual growth to younger people in our congregation and from the wider community. We also aim to provide a safe place for children to discover God and His love. We have a child protection policy in association with The Children’s department of Assemblies of God Guidelines and those of the specialist agency Churches Child Protection Agency Service CCPAS. We want the life of the church to be a safe place to be. We want children and young people to discover new life in Jesus in a safe and exciting way, and for them to build positive relationships and experiences that will remain with them forever.
Sunday Morning Children’s Activities provide regular teaching and input. The children take an active part in our monthly Family Service the first Sunday of each month. There is also a creche facility on Sunday mornings during the service for nursing mothers and those with very young.
Xtreme Kids’ Club happens at 6.00pm on Friday evenings in term time. It is a fun time of activities, games, songs, snack time and teaching.
The King’s Army Youth house group is a weekly bible focused group for 11- 15 year olds who want to know more of God. It’s a time for these teens to explore what a relationship with God really looks like and how to live out lives that will bring glory to their creator.
