Worship and Communion
Sunday 10:45am – 12:15pm
Our Sunday services normally last around 90 minutes. We come together to praise God, to learn from His Word and to encourage each other. In each service, except for the family service on the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate communion.
Preaching is Bible-based and usually supported with power-points. The worship teams seek to lead in a contemporary style and during the family service children and young people are involved in leading worship.
There is a Sunday School on all but the first Sunday of the month on which there is a family service. A crèche is available for the very little children.
Sunday 6:00pm – 7:00pm
The evening service follows a similar pattern to the morning service except that no specific provision is made for children.
Evening services tend to be a little shorter, with communion celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.
Discipleship is a key focus in the personal development of all connected with the church. It is our desire that all who are seeking Christ, should learn to walk faithfully in His pattern living their lives for His Glory.
To that end we encourage all in the church to be part of regular small group meetings for fellowship, bible study and encouragement in prayer. We now have a number of small house groups that are active and meeting at different times across the week. All these groups are open to all who are wanting to investigate the claims of Christ and grow in faith. Please contact Mark & Marie Lees to find out details of these home group meetings.
Church Prayer Meeting
Monday 8:00pm – 10:00pm & Tuesday 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Prayer is a vitally important part of the life of the church. We ask and encourage everyone committed to our church to come to the regular prayer meetings.
It provides an opportunity to give praise and thanks to God for what he has done in our lives both individually and as a body, and to bring our needs and aspirations before him. Topics for prayer cover individuals, groups within the church, our missionaries and right the way across the spectrum including major world-wide issues.
We have a range of smaller house group, bible studies and support groups active throughout the week in various locations. Please call Marie on 01933-316084 or 07999338830 for more information and detail.
Bible study, fellowship and pastoral care are key functions in the life of the church and pastoral care largely takes place in the contexts of these meetings.
