1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
As of the 15th of March 2017 the King’s Army youth group will become a youth house group. Why? Well the bible tells us about the incredible value God puts on youth. It is so clear from the bible that God has such a heart for them.We believe that when the bible says Jesus is the head of the church that it means he is the head over the entire body and so over all the areas and ministries within the church. We believe that Jesus wants this area of the church to be thriving just as much as the rest of the body. We know that God has given these young people incredible gifts so that they can grow within the church. This is the heart behind the slight change in the running of this group. We want to provide the time and space for God to come into the lives of our young people in real and relevant ways. We want to see God transform their lives and make them young believers who can demonstrate Jesus through life, love, faith and purity.
The sessions will run every Wednesday at Marie Lees’ house. There will be food, fun and fellowship. Looking at bible passages, we will have discussions and prayer about topics raised as well as time to pray into one another’s lives.
So if you are aged 11- 15 and want to delve into scripture, then come along. We’d love to see you.
For any more information just see Marie Lees (Minister) and she will be sure to help.
