Bible Study Meeting with Margaret Young @ Full Gospel Church
This Bible study meeting is open to all who wish to learn more no matter how little or great their knowledge of the Bible. All are welcome and the sessions are led Margaret Young. The meeting provides an opportunity to share the word of God together in a smaller focussed group.
A community three course lunch all for £3. This event for all those who consider themselves as pensioners and includes a short Gospel service with traditional hymns and prayers. We would ask for all attendees to book in advance via the church office as numbers each week are limited.
The main worship service for the week is on Sunday morning. Worship is led by various teams and is modern and chorus based, with times for open prayer and ministry gifts.
Communion forms part of our worship except on the first Sunday of the month when we have a more informal children’s focussed service. All present who have faith in God are encouraged to participate in communion, and families supervise their own children at their discretion.
Teaching is always Bible based and brings a mixture of practical teaching and a time for response and application.
We have a strong emphasis on missions and seek to have guest missions input to our regular teaching which is taught and prepared by the church leadership team or those under training or recognised teachers/preachers.
Children of school age have opportunity to participate in separate teaching except when it is a specific family service.
For those of pre-school age we do have a crèche room facility and a small team who can supervise this if required. Though we are happy to have nursing or younger children stay in for the whole service and are not fussy about normal and natural infant crying or noise!
The evening worship service follows a similar pattern to the morning service except that no specific provision is made for children.
Evening services tend to be a little shorter, with communion celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.
